In the recent Light Magazine, which is a Christian monthly publication, I came across an article about Laura-Lynn Tyler Thompson. She has recently left the 700 Club Canada to begin taking a stand the recent SOGI 123 in the public school. For your information, SOGI 123 basically teaches that little boys could be a girl and telling little girls that they could be a boy. This has been a global initiative of LGBTQ to teach our children and bring further confusion about their identity. I personally know of one friend who has lost his job and home and I am sure many have lost their jobs in how ungodly our culture has become.
The real question is what issue are you standing up for today? I believe we are heading to seemingly toward a godless, bible less, and Christ less times and we as believers need to start standing up for what is true. In Ephesians, it says “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armour of God; so that you can take stand against devil’s schemes…Therefore put on the armour of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground and after you have done everything, to stand. “(Ephesians 6:10-13)
Stand firm, our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the rulers, the authorities, and the power of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. The struggle is real, the evil power is all around us and is polluted our mind and spirit like James said. Therefore, we must put on God’s armour and fight the fight. How bad does it get before we realized there are some battles worth fighting for.
As a parent, we realized the lives of our children and their faith are at stake so let us stand with people like Laura-Lynn that our faith is been challenged and we need to take stand today!
